wiring problem
i have a 89 truck that i took the motor out of which was a 3.0 v6 and replaced it with a 93 3.0 everything hooks up put the alternator,distributor and a plug coming out of the motor under the fuel rale.do they make adaptors for them or what do i need to do.any help will be great

btw there are no adapters made by anyone for this, unless you custom make it.
Let this be a lesson to anyone else who reads this thread: ALWAYS always ALWAYS use your old wiring harness, and compare the engines side by side before intallation.
As it is now, you will have to ask for parts for a 93 if you ever need them, since things like timing belt tensioner and distributor are way different between the years.

I think that's the problem he's having isn't it?
He is using the '89 harness and the newer engine won't hook in to it is what it sounds like it to me.
I would go back to the truck the motor came out of and get the plug and splice them in to the '89 harness...
