initial start checklist??

Pulled my 3.0 out to replace every gasket, seal and valve there is and adjusted valves. What precautions should I take when I do the initial startup so everything goes smooth? Thank you.

use the FP to B+ jumper to run the fuel pump and verify you have no fuel leaks.
Gently rotate the crank with a wrench to feel for any uneven spots.
Set up a timing light when you first crank it, to quickly check that the timing is somewhere in the ball park (it has to warm up to actually set it).
