I need some help for a friend of mine. He has little access to the web, and I was bragging about this site, so he wants help for his truck.

First off, the ride: 91 Yota 4x4, 5 sp. 22re.

The question. Are the G series and W series transmissions interchangable with this engine? He is pretty sure he has the G, and believes the W is more solid. I confess, I don't know. His tranny is going out, and he was worried about having to be specific about which went back into it.

Hey, I'm gonna hijack my own tread, how did you make your snorkel?

 

i have a 22re... the intacke is right behind the drivers headlight.. i just took out and then opened the hole a bit.. then used i think 2.5 inch pvc.. a few 90''s a 45 or 2 and then i cut a huge hole is my already mangled fender..also had to take the fender off and just inlarge a hole that one of the turn signal wires went through .just used the goop from homedepot for the pipe i used.... should hear the sound when i step on her !!

exactly.. i have been daily driving the trail rig to make sure she is ready for my next adveture.... the way my snorkel i dont even see it... so i pretend its not there...

the welded rear on the other hand gets some looks
