not to be dick but I was speaking real life trail applications not some huge piece of mud truck that has nothing left that is toyota but the body panels. So i guess my 2wd is better than your 4wd now because it has ifs, small tires, and slings mud. Who cares how far it can take you. And I see a lot of 22re's pushing 37" tires...but honestly you can think what you want.

Yup. The easiest and cheapest way to get a SAS vehicle, is to buy a truck that is SAS to begin with.

For beginners, I'd recommend NOT building a SAS truck with 37" tires to start off with. You'll become a better driver if you start with something closer to stock, with a locker and some armour.

Build it up as you need.
