Yeah that's not the point. This is a Toyota forum an we don't need to be filling it with off topic post and different breeds of vehicles. Although I must say that's a pretty neat rig that your friend has established. I like it and I'm sure others do as well. But we'd better stay on topic lol.......

Fun is fun.Edit: oh sorry gotta be "technical" so fun + fun = more fun. Or fun is that of or equivalent to or greater than the sum of fun multiplied by times, depending on time zone.

You forgot to divide by the moon phase. Oh, and don't forget to carry the 2. You should end up somewhere close to Omaha :p

Yeah, lets get back on topic. This is Yotatech not Geotech. Not even showing IFS flex.
Yes, my 4 Runner is showing a 7.5" front differential assembly. And yes its located in the center. The CMdiff is something a YT member named Cassidy turned me onto. I researched it and saw some guys in Australia doing it but not with LT. Cassidy did it with Blazeland LT and did a write up. I was so impressed I installed it on my 4 Runner. Both Cassidy and I have build threads here on YT detailing the CMdiff, check it out.

The CVs are something I had a local well known axle builder develop for Blazeland. I have the proprietary rights to it and we are discussing weather he sells them and I get a royalty or I sell them. The prototype I had built cost me over $600 for the pair. I can order a pair right now for $600 and a two week lead time. These are probably over built as this guy builds for the high end including Top Fuel Dragsters. If I could generate enough interest the cost would come down but I'd have to have minimum quantity of (10) for that.
I am also considering a DIY sleeve kit where you cut and sleeve what you got. This would be very economical but strength would be marginal at best.
The third option would be to find a import company that is building for Duralast or some other big time operation and build a complete assembly. This would be way cool. You can get complete CV axle assembly at most auto parts store for $75. The only difference would be the inner axle needs to be longer. Id probably have to order in the thousands so this might not be likely?

$600 eh. Well considering i paid $200 for 1 CV that was not OEM way up north that's not too bad at all.
I'm getting close to making a decision on my LT plans.
Nice work.
Oh and overbuilt isn't a bad thing for a 4x4 that goes out deep into the bush.
Nice website update. Small spelling error in the about us part.
