Do you have the stock torsion bars or the OME torsion bars?

The stock torsion bars relaxed a bit with the bj spacers would allow more flex. than OME cranked up.

In my opinion there is a common misconception that when you level a 4runner that the wheel wells must be level. IMO, this is not true as the rear fender is built into the body lower than the front. look at the body line that runs through the doors and into the rear panel to see if that is level.

I have original equipment (OEM) T-bars, stock and just as old as the rest of the truck. Does Old Man Emu (OME) even make them for the 2nd gen Runner?

I have the front adjusted so that I don't bottom out excessively, and to level it a bit.

I'll have to see exactly how much they will flex at full stuff front and rear sometime soon. Maybe this upcoming weekend I'll see.

Thanks for the answers and sorry for the confusion.

new flex pix

Still stock suspension. Someday I'll disconnect the anti-sway bars, but I don't do much extreme or even tough offroading.

tire off ground

If I sit on the front drivers side bumper the rear tire lifts off the ground

Nice and dirty wheel well

no problem, my bad. I read the post wrong. but yeah a lot of guys use the BJ spacers to give them the ability to relax the torsion bars or keep heavier torsion bars more relaxed while still maintaining if not increasing their lift.

Yes OME does make heavier torsion bars for the 1st, and 2nd gen 4runners and pick ups. http://www.rocky-road.com/4runner.html

Wow, that is exactly the build I am shooting for with my truck aside from MC front bumper, 32x10.5 TSL radials and a detroit rear. My truck is even white haha.

This thread is hilarious. The only thing I see flexing in any of these pictures is the rear axle.
