Idler Arm quick question
If i replace the idler arm and bracket that goes with it do i need to have an alignment done? and should replace the relay rod and tie rods while im at it?

I had to replace the idler arm in mine a few years ago, and thought that I would be fine afterwards, as like MudHippy says, that if it is aligned prior then it should be after. In my case was FAIL.
It resulted in my left front wheel getting eaten up on the inside edge. I didn't catch it until the inside of the tire was bare.
I then kicked myself in the ass and got it aligned and changed out my spare tire with the pooched one. $100 later, a valuable lesson was learned... Get it checked. Most shops will actually run the alignment test and if you pass, they don't charge you!

Well, the idler arm IS an integral part of the front suspension / steering system.
IF it was sufficiently worn to require replacement, then you SHOULD have an alignment done.
It directly affects toe settings and indirectly affects camber and caster.
