I need heat!
Ok so its getting pretty cold here in NC (can't complain too much as it has been in the 70's up until recently). And my front and rear heaters don't work. Well, actually neither blower motor blows any hot air. I can leave the switch to blow in fresh air and after the engine gets up to temp, hot air will waft through the vents but no fan pushing it. I have checked the relay and I can hear it click, what is my best avenue for troubleshooting this. I would say it was just the blower motor and I need to take it apart and see if the brushes are still good but does that motor also blow heat for the rear? I just find it a coincidence as well as inconvenient that both heaters do not work. Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure because both of your heaters are not working but the front heater (fan) was not working only on highest setting in my 87 once. I was still able to move air in the other 3 positions. This probably is not the case for you?

I must also mention that my switch/lever for selecting on low medium high was busted so at one point I was able to hard wire it for 'high' all the time and now I have nothing. I assume that by running "high" all the time, I must have run the front blower to death but that still leaves the rear heater. I suppose these two situations may not be related it just seems that they would be if both were out to begin with.
