I am overheating now.
I've got an '89 pickup 22rE. Yesterday, I replaced my timing chain and I am now running ridiculously hot. Prior to changing my timing chain, I wasn't having any issues whatsoever. Everything was working perfectly. Now, I am having problems. Any suggestions?

Sorry for giving such a vague description. I had taken my truck in earlier this morning to get my timing set to smog specs to pass smog. I took side streets there by habit so I didn't overheat. But after seeing that the timing was set correctly at my shop and taking it to the smog shop, I started going home and on the freeway, my temperature skyrocketed. Which wasn't the case 2 days ago, before I replaced my timing chain...

raise the front of your truck with a jack or park on a high slope run your engine so its warm and refill your radiator with your heater on high and the engine running this helps any trapped air pockets to escape
