Hydro-lock Aftermath

So the other day i decided to attempted to cross a flooded dirt road, i made it through it the previous day. I was pushing water a little to fast and sucked it water...so..that night i drain the oil. There was some water in the oil. The next day after school i pulled all the spark plugs and sucked the water out of the spark plug holes with a home-brewed pumped attached to some tubing form a fish tank. their was a decent amount of water in the cylinders. the next step i took was to crank er' over a couple times w/o the plugs to get all the water. Once all the water was out i filled her up w/ oil and she started right up. i ran it for a bit then changed the oil again. However i am having problems still.

1.) The truck shakes very little in nuetral or at idle, but when under load it shakes really bad.
2.) No power...i have a 3.0 but it was never this terrible, mileage went down too
3.) The truck seems to have a hard time reaching revs past 4k
4.) When shifting or sometimes slowing down, i hear what sounds like plastic silver wear snapping. The 5spd manual shifts just fine.

I love this truck, so if anyone has any advice i would be very greatful.
ps. i did search but did not find anything.
thanks in advance

Sounds like you have water in your exhaust - did you let it run long enough to get really warmed up?

It sounds like you're getting good air in (you did replace the air filter correct?) but having a problem pushing a volume of air out at higher rpms. I'd guess exhaust, maybe the cat got full of mud or something from the loss of back pressure at the same time the water shut the motor down? Thats just a guess.

Take off the cat and run it open header to see if thats the problem.. if it runs better then you have a bad cat, clogged.

Check the AFM and see if the little flap moves smoothly and closes all the way.

That's what happen to another guy here:
