A Winter Wonder Land (aftermath)

Well we finally got hit in chicago! first real snow of the season, and even light blizzard worthy

Here's some pics of the aftermath, i wanted to get pic of while it was happening but couldn't.

The tree landed btwn two cars, almost could have hit either one....

official count outside was 10in, not too bad but now its freezing balls already and the snow is kinda icy. I did get some nice snow driving time though did some nice power slides, had to get used to doing it with a stick!

well, see here is the northern parts of the country were its actually gets cold, we also get snow time to time. its this white flake and powery stuff that fall from the sky kinda like rain. I know you don't see this phenomenon in FL (we have a house in North Port ) :beach:

Dang... Here in Texas we put on thermals and parkas if it ever drops below 70!

See, you wouldn't thunk it, but I know what snow looks like! See, I went to Michigan once for a huntin trip. Anyhoo, I got stuck in my deer blind during a blizzard for 3 days with nothin to eat or drink save for a flask of white lightnin. Man those three days flew! But yeah, Alperovich was right, it's some kind of fluffy white cold stuff that falls from the sky. Makes taking a leak fun!

It's been snowy here since Tuesday night. It's finally sunny and melting today, but a lot of the side roads are still snowpack. It was 3* here last night.
