Arrow how to remove pulleys?!

i have a 3.0 v6 and a weird noise. The noise is coming from the bottom pulley. i know it is this one because i loosed it all the way and started the engine and when no tension from the belt is on this the noise is gone. the one that isnt connected to anything. From what i can tell it is only used in putting tension on that bottom belt. anyways it wiggles in and out and contacts metal with metal. i want to take it off and see what i can do about fixing this. I already have taken off the nut and some sort of covering plate and then a little gold washer after that. but from here i am stumped. anyhelp would be greatly appreciated. especially since i have no car right now. thanks in advanced David

no it is like a tensioner pulley( thats just how i describe it). for the ac compresser. i have three belts on my runner. it is the one on the middle but hangs farthest down. i had to take my skid plate off to get to it. it has a lot of wiggle in it and i want to take it off and see what i can do about tytining it up. maybe putting some grease in there or something. the bracket that the pulley is attatched it is connected to the ac compressor.

the pulley should just pull off. but you may have to pry it off. and if it is bad you will need to replace it. there will be no fixing it with some greese. good luck!!!

the bearing for the pully is probabley siezed to the stud. may need to cut it off the stud or cut the stud itself and replace it wwww/ the pully.

I just replaced mine a couple weeks ago. You need to know a few things:
1. Get an OEM replacement. the pulleys from kragen and napa are too small. I speak from experience.
2. The OEM replacement will come with the stud, nut, and washers.
3. You can order a new one (OEM) for about 20 bucks here Item # 88440-35020.
