they have plastic nubs that snap into plastic holes.
the nubs usally break off. and you are left trying to find one that isnt broke. unless you are painting it, there is no reason to take it off.

well maybe if there is a hornets nest in there, i guess.

If I remember correctly, you push them up to start the removal process. There may be a screw on the inside of the cab that must be removed. Plastic plug or "dot" with adhesive is lifted to access the screw. I have mine removed from a 88 x-cab and that was a year ago. I'll check tonight to be sure.

What he said.

New clips can be purchased at the dealer.

Air extraction.
All cars have it.
Some hide it better than others.
On the trucks I think its hidden by the bed?

There is also a hole up high thats REAL convenient for running a CB antenna cable...

Wabbit and 80W90 hit it right on the head. You just gotta snap them off, and the clips WILL break. Then just get the clips out, and get new clips from the dealer. There is really no other way to remove them. They use opposing slots, so there really isn't any way to slide that piece out.

You can use the tool for door panel removal, looks like a wide head screwdriver with a v notch in the middle. It also has a slide bend in it. I just took mine off the truck I'm parting out just to see what was behind it. If you need new ones I have them and the little plastic thingys to hold them in place. LOL...

It takes 2 of part number 62955-91c01
and 8 of part number 62955-89101

now this may be for both sides, the EPC sometimes list quantity for 1 side, sometimes both

also keeps pressure from building up from extreme summer heat as well as when you close the door it releases the air pressure from building up.

I remember seeing older cars with there windows blown out from hot air build up in the summer. this helps prevent that

Yup..
I vaguely recall that you use a door panel tool to get the two BOTTOM ones popped and the slide it UP and also to one side. Hopefullyhe clips bust and not the panel
