How many bolts?

I am pulling the engine and want to know how many bolts there are holding the 5 speed tranny bellhousing to a 22re? I want to make sure i got them all and the manual doesnt really show "how" many there are.

Thanks

-4 bolts holding bellhousing to block
-4 bolts holding support brackets to bell housing
-2 bolts holding starter on

So 10 Total.

I wouldn't suggest that. Quick way to break things.

Ditto, there is a lot of torque flying around in that little bellhousing.

Don't feel bad! I did the same thing last time I dropped a tranny. Stabbed it..then went to bed...came out the next day and forgot about the top 2 bolts

Luckily it only takes a few minutes to drop the crossmember and tilt back the bellhousing
