How 'bout some results?

After many questions and a lot of work, I'm nearing the end of my mild "resto." Thought I'd show some before/after as well as some Yotatech love... I owe a lot to this community.
Stock as I got her, after a LOT of Simple Green and elbow grease:

After tires, paint, and tint. New suspension, all new running gear:

And a little "credit where credit is due":

Thanks again, all.

Next up: LSD mod. Pismo, here I come!

does that floor jack come with a 'dolly' to help follow you around and fix the rear end sag?
sorry, had to say it.

but the truck looks good, really... it does look good.

Glad you got rid of those aluminum wheels, they just make me want to punch a baby. God forbid I'm in a nursery when I see those things. haha

Many a toddler walked with black eyes before I unloaded those...

You guys are killin' me. The floor jack pic was me trying to simulate the 1.5" lift blocks before I decided to buy/install them.

Went with the blocks. Kept losing the floor jacks over speed bumps.

Chuck Norris would not approve, nor would Mr. T.

We were trying to stimulate the type of response you would get if you had actual before and after pics of the truck. We are willing to give you credit for time served if you can produce a pic of the truck, at several angles, without the floor jack or any other means of lifting the rear. Multiple children (or other members of Yotatech, in particular "scuba") piled under the differential are acceptable.

lol, Dane Cook...

I think every Toyota owner has had that exact same set of wheels on their PU or Runner at one time, even if the Yota doesn't want to have them

Man!!! My previous avatar showed the sag in all it's beauty! Now I can't find the jpg I produced it with. I'll keep looking. In the meantime, suffice it to say it was BAD. To the point where I would get "flashed" (headlights, that is) from oncoming traffic as though I had my brights on them.

In short, I made classic Impalas jealous.

Poor etiquette to hijack my own thread???

OT: I saw Dane at the Laugh Factory in Hollywood (where Michael Richards made an arse of himself). Front row, could have touched him. LITERAL abdominal soreness the next day from laughing so hard...

Now how do I get back on topic...? I didn't have my 4Runner at the time, or he would have been that much funnier????

Ok, better effort: did I mention that I'm getting just a hair under 20mpg's in mixed driving, with only a thousand miles on the rebuild?

Can't WAIT to see what it'll get when I get it dialed in and some more miles to break in!
