Changed Speed Sensor, now what?
Hey guys, so I replaced the speed sensor since my speedometer stopped working, and it didn't fix anything, that was $250 well spent. Any clue as to what step to take next? Thanks!

i guess check that one with a multimeter...
Im guessing you have an electric speedo rather then a cable driven??
If you have a cable driven the cable could of snaped...

Have you done any work on the dash? Taken the inst. cluster out for any reason, if you have, maybe you loosened the connection where the cable attaches to the cluster. Maybe it has just worked itself loose. Take the driver's side dash down, move the cluster to the side and check to see if the connector (big, round and white) is in tight. If it is, unplug it, take the cluster out totally, and look into the connector and see if the plastic ppiece that goes into the keyway on the cluster hasn't snapped off. If it has, you will need to replace the whole speedo cable.

Which speed sensor? From what I understand there should be 2 of them. One in the transmission, one in the back of the speedometer. Go to motormagazine.com and search for the vss article in there. It might give u a better idea of whats up
