at the moment im using new veggie oil, and as its quite cold here (about -5) Im running 50/50 with diesel. no processing with new veggie (straight veg oil) and in the summer months i run about 90% veg 10% diesel. actually runs better on veg. and at the end of the day, its about half the price of diesel over here

I would love to find a Hilux. That guy in Australia put his in the ocean for a few hours, pulled it out, and drove it away.

Will all diesel engines run on veggie oil by just changing the filter?

I thought it was a little more complicated.

I saw a some chemist dude on Discovery channel that was processing his own. He had massive tanks and equipment in his garage. He was using old oil from restaurants. It had to be filtered, then heated to a certain temp., he also mix in some additives. It really didn't seem that easy.

For now gas is 1.99/gal. in Austin, Tx. I am ok with that for now.

I'm pretty sure most people browsing this forum have a Hilux. You, for example, have a Hilux Surf. It's just different marketing.
