2gen 4runner auto transmission problem
Hi,
I use my 4runner in offroad. But I have a big problem. When I drove in 4low and put "L" in "gear" , then I try to climb a Rock , for example 2500 RPM. The gear sudenly disconnects , and I need to drive in reverse downrock.
I have a few photos here: http://picasaweb.google.es/paulo.cardenas/Chacabuco4x4
Im the red 4runner.
Is like I put my foot in the "clutch"...
Is there any sensor , or exist any way to avoid this behavior ????
Best Regards!
Paulo

Yesterday I check de ATF Fluid Level and seems to be Ok...
I make another test , but always same result. When climbing o ver 30 degrees the truck seems to lose power and the 1gear just disconects. I put the acelerator to the floor, the transmission slips try to re engage 1st.... but over 4000 rpms.
Any comments??
