$12,000

First - thats probably the original sticker price!
My 4Runner cost that in 1989!

Second - its only REMOTELY worth that if its all original.
--Rims
--Bed coated
are two mods that I can spot w/o even looking...

Hey - whatever the market will bear...

Toyota trucks and 4runners go for 6-8K here, pretty average.

Yeah that one has low mileage, that's what it would go for here. You guys are so lucky with the cheap prices on them south of the border.

in southern california that blue 1988 4wd xtracab in pristine condition would not fetch more than about $4500 to 5000. its a nice truck but 12,000?
i like that vintage of truck too, but not 12 grand worth.

no joke. i'm a little north, but, i bought my 94sr5 for 5500 in really great condition (i've since trashed it). that truck wouldn't get even a third of that.

There's always one, and unfortunatly that's all he needs to think that's a good deal! This kind of crap tends to piss me off becasue some poor sob. that probably can't afford it, will most likely be the sucker of the month.
