Hella 700ff installed, of course there is pics.

So Ive been in cali for about a month and for my birthday I got some Hella 700s.

I got home yesterday and I threw these on. Took me about 4 hours. I used a 2nd relay so each light can have there own relay and I can run bigger bulbs and not fry the wires.

Enough talkin on to the pics. Yes I know I have a chevy emblem and you all hate it, well ill change it back later so shhh lol.

Crappy cellphone pic

Ill get some night shots sometime but THESE BULBS SUCK. Well kinda. I mean they are 55w but still throw alot of light and the pattern is good, I just dont like the yellowish color. Im going to get some different bulbs later today.

I've been thinking of getting some 500s, the local wally world has a pair of 500s for $50 and a pair of 500Fs for $64. What's the difference, and what bulbs do you use to whiten up the light?

Thanks for the comments.

The bowtie came from my old work, I used to work at a body shop, I saw it laying around so I said why not haha. I dont really like chevys, its just funny to confuse people.

The "ff" means free form, I think its just a better pattern. Id get the 700s, well if you do want to switch they use the same everything lol.

Heres the bulbs I just bought. Ill let you all know how they are tonight.

Are the 700s just larger than the 500s? I'm not familiar with auto lights in general, or Hellas in particular.

That is correct. 500s are like 5'' around, 700s are 7'' around.

That's what I figured. I think 500s would be fine for me. Let us know how the replacement bulb works out, where did you get it?

I got the lights at Shucks in California. I know every place but autozone sells em, you just have to look around. I got em for 90$. I = my dad haha.

The bulbs wernt yellow, they were just plain halogen, so they were amber. But yes, yellows are good for snow and fog. The ones i got are just going to look better lol. They might help out a bit. haha.

oh I've owned a 79 Cobra, a 97 Ranger, and a 2000 Mustang, so it's not like I haven't owned a Ford or anything, lol

I've just never been a big fan; I'll take a GM any day over a Ford... I mean, unless the Ford is like a Ford GT or something... but I'd take a ZR1 over that GT

But at the same rate, I'd take a 4Runner over a Blazer anyday too

thanks man. the first time i saw the holes i knew i had to put some lights in
there. i had to drill them out a little bit to make the bolts fit but other then
that the went right in. heres another pic in the daylight, i ran out and took a
pic the other night and took that picture when i saw your post haha.

now when you get another set of lights just slap em on there and youll be set! not to mention it would look sick coming down the road with all the lights on on!
