Headlight replacement.

Running a bone stock 94 Tacoma. I want to upgrade the headlights to something with a little more visibility at night. I don’t want to do any major wiring changes or much modification. I’d prefer a simple plug and go replacement that hopefully doesn’t upset the fuses and the rest of the original electrical. Any recommendations? TIA.

Truck-Lites - Made in U.S.A. Plug and Play

MOST ESSSENTIAL BEFORE ANYTHING:
Fix the convoluted path the current takes to and from the headlights with an H4 conversion harness. Google "Convoluted path 4crawler".

Then, consider Truck-Lites. Made in U.S.A. Plug and Play, Three-Year Warranty.
See comparison with Auto-Pal Conversion Housing with Halogen Bulb

I got a set of trucklites at the beginning of this year and they are fantastic, but I miss the look of halogens and might be switching back.

Let me know if you are interested...

Great area to go off-roading. Did you go through "the squeeze"? Spent many years in the Anza Borrego desert.

We visit often when weather is cool, but I don't do the technical routes. Got a stock 4Runner for touring.

Wife and I had an 82 Jeep CJ7 at the time and it did fine, pretty much stock. Not sure if you noticed the rock formations going through the trail, but my father in law wrote a non published book about it, he researched it for years . Very interesting to say the least. I'll see if I can get a pdf copy from him.

We had a permanent camp spot at the Mobiland trailer park about 200 yards off the Split Mountain road turn off. I think it was 2 years of straight weekends going out there. When our babies were old enough to hold their heads up we took them out. They are the next generation of off-roaders now.

COOL! I'm familiar with that area. In fact, video above was taken on the way to wind caves.
