I'm just curious, how has you lce header holding up? Mine is not even a year old and there seems to be little rust specks around the welds!! wtf....what happend to the stainless?
There is also slight discoloration of the ceramic coating at the bends(slight brown tint).

10+ years on mine (pre-stainless version) and no rust anyplace (aside from the stock block off plates that I used a high temp paint on):
I have sanded out the plates and repainted since that photo was taken, using a baked-on ceramic paint.

I put mine on 2 weeks ago, already have the brown tint. Also, I had to relocate the o2 sensor down near the crossmember, and now its throwing codes.
If I had to do it again, probably would have got the Thorley. Oh well. Performance wise its good, and if a new o2 sensor solves the code issue all will be fine.
The reason I didn't get the Thorley was bc the header with the o2 bung up high for the stock sensor placement only tested one cylinder. At this point I should have gambled on that one.

Roger, your 11-12 year old header still looks better then my 2 week old header. They don't make em like they used to.

I dont have a problem with the o2 sensor though.(carb)
4Crawler your header still looks new!!
Do you guys think it's the air injection tubes causing too much heat? I see 4crawlers doesnt have them.

Ah no. I have block off plates as well. So I think it's a different time, different product type of deal.
