I ran 35s" on a DD.
Dual mechanical lockers.
I DD it less and less until I finally sold it....
It would have been OK, cept it was flexy and was a bit difficult to drive at low speeds in tight corners:

I'll stick to 33's on the current truck..

Don't get me wrong, its definately a work of art. Its beautiful and I can only imagine it took an incredible amount of time to make all the bends, notches and welds. I was just wondering where the design came from. If that thing was to roll do you predict that any of the members would bend? What size tubing did you use?
I am in the getting material stages of mine(using 1.75 and 1.5 DOM)....4rnr can correct me if I am wrong on the roof section....that is a large area to cover, only way to use less bracing is if he also built a internal cage and connected the 2 through the roof for support. If he had only a couple sections up there you could probably use it as hillbilly trampoline.....meaning in a rollover it would collapse and you would have 1.75 DOM for a plate in your head.

I had been planning on building an exo for years and when board I would draw out ideas. That design was a combo of looks, strength, efficient use of tube, and ease. Me and two friends did it in a weekend (about 22 hrs). Its 1.5" .120wall DOM. As for the overbuilt roof I felt it necesary due to the lack of verticle support because of the 4 doors I was un able to support the roof. I feel that if I rolled there would be no problems.
