Fuel Injector Connectors

Hello, I'm rebuilding the top end of my 93 runner, and noticed during disassembling of the wire harness to the injectors, they were damaged and some are melted from high heat. I've been trying to find some new ones online or if they make new ones for repairs. Does anyone know of a place that may sell them or make them? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you...

I'm going to assume you have a 3vze motor. I got mine on ebay, do a search for Toyota injector pigtails.

i believe you can do better than $11 apiece. i purchased 4 from Injector Repair LLC, with 6" pigtails, for $28.75 total (shipping included) in 2015. these work better than the factory connectors, as they can be removed from the injector without tools, and with the fuel rail/plenum fully intact. not possible with the factory connectors.

^ what he said ... but actually , the stock connectors are just a push /pull connector , so they can just be removed with your thumb .

maybe the 6 cylinders versions are different? cannot remove the 22re version connector from an '87 with just a thumb. need a flat-blade screwdriver AND the space to do it. not possible with the plenum attached, as the wire clip that gets pushed is facing DOWN.

I MUCH prefer the crimp-on terminals. http://www.ebay.com/itm/400824432983...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT Of course, you need to cut off the old pins carefully, so you'll have enough wire, but I had no trouble being careful. And you need a crimp tool; they aren't expensive. If you use the ones with "pigtails," you'll end up soldering 12 sets of wires, putting on 12 pieces of heat-shrink, and it will still look like a patch job.

YMMV.

Same as the ones Scope listed and a tad bit more expensive, but one stop shopping for connectors and crimper.

ok. the later version of the connector is much more user-friendly than the pre-1990 version. i see these can be disconnected via thumb.
