Vacuum Leak

Good Morning friends,
I have an 88 22re 5 speed 4x4 for background. I have been getting a rough idle after warm up and suspected a vacuum leak. So yesterday, I took some starting fluid to check for vacuum leaks. I found one but it is around the intake tube. I found some used ones on Ebay for $70, but damn there has to be a better option or a place to find one new right?

Check the rubber accordian hose right in front of the tb. With age they're known for cracking along the ribs, especially at the bottom so pull it and flex back and forth to see.

I've seen aftermarket ones for $35 but I went with the Toyota part so it'll last 30 years again.

The plastic tube is incredibly tough even after 30 years. If you suspect it's leaking, pull it, clean it off and check it over with a flashlight. Damage bad enough to cause leak will be obvious. It's more likely the rubber part.

If it is the plastic tube, shipping costs are high cause of it's length. The best way to get one is a pick n pull or listing a WTB here on YT. If I had a spare I'd send it for the cost of shipping.
