Fuel damper wrench size..

I tried searching, but surprisingly came up dry. Does anyone know the wrench size for the fuel damper on a 95 3.0 runner?

Thanks in advance.

Do you not have a way to check yourself?

I can't seem to get my calipers in there, and while I likely have the right size wrench on hand, I want to make darn sure of it before I pull the upper intake on my transportation.

The part won't be in until tomorrow at the dealer, and I have arranged a ride to pick it up from a friend.

So, short summation.

I don't yet have new part I don't plan on driving the runner runner unless absolutely unavoidable, but would like not to totally rule that option out yet by pulling the intake.

I want to minimize favors, and so have all my ducks in a row.

If I need a wrench, I want to have that on hand.

I figured with the wealth of knowledge here I might get lucky and someone would know offhand.

I used an adjustable end wrench on my 22RE. It's fairly large and I only have wrenches up to 19mm. It's somewhere in the 25 to 30mm range.

I can't help you either, but your explanation for asking now makes good sense. Such good sense that it might have been worth putting a short sentence in your original post so that we weren't all scratching our heads.

And once you find out the wrench size, who are you going to tell ...?

Everyone who uses the search function.

One way or another, this thread will have the wrench size by tomorrow; as I will update when I get there if someone doesn't chime in before hand.

It should be picked up by a search easily, and provide anyone in the future with the information.

I have been utilizing this site for about 6 months, and this was the first time I couldn't find the information I needed by searching.

Now I actually broke down and created an account, I'll have to start giving back where I can.

With all the tools I have, I did not have the correct wrench to fit on the damper. However I was unfazed, I broke out the trusty metric adjustable wrench. Worked like a charm.

I would be courious to find out the correct size though...

Much better than the old-fashioned SAE adjustable wrench!

iirc, then I'll guess it's a 27. mm progression for Toyotas (again, iirc) should be 8, 10, 12, 14, 17, 19, 21, 23, 27, 30.

Believe I have a pair of 23 and 27 offset wrenches, bought specifically for a/c pipe work. Think I've also used them on the egr, on one car or another. Yet never played with the fuel system. The 30 should be for an axle nut.
