Okay I really hope somebody can help me out here. I found a guy on my local Craigslist selling a used arb bumper says it was for a jeep Cherokee not sure what year but he said he had it on a Toyota pickup. The pictures he sent me are of the bum

Well the wrong thread got deleted so let me try n finish this one.

So my problem is I found a used arb the guy from Craigslist says it was for a jeep Cherokee but he had it on his 93 pickup and mines a 92.

He sent me pics of the bumper laying in front of his truck but not on his truck it looks like the widths right but he says it doesn't come with mounting brackets so I was going to get my local welding shop to make some. But there's a difference I've noticed on google images there's a horizontal bar that goes right above the bumper and bellow the top bar of the grille guard. Will this interfere with anything should I risk buying this or not? It's a third of the price of a new arb

sounds like a custom job, never looked at jeep bumper mounting points, i think the widith is about the same, ask him what he did and how he made it fit, , i found a dented one on the CList almost got it but it would take some doing to make it right. do a CL Q&A if it sounds like slap stick work and you still want to try it lowball accordingly im sure its nothing that couldnt be fab'ed better than $900 new

Yea it's not dented r anything really I've seen pics and it's not rusty but I was thinking that bar could block the headlights I wonder if just removing that bar would make it the same as the Toyota model.

Cutting out the bar could solve the headlight issue, the top hoop of the bumper would probably be a bit higher than the hood of your truck
