Front End Squeak

I have a high pitched squeaking sound coming from my left side front end. It is definitely suspension related, but I can't identify where the sound is coming from. Virtually anything that changes the load on the suspension will cause the squeak. It's got to be an upper or lower control arm, a shock, or possibly something else. The sound is very loud and terribly annoying, especially for anyone outside the vehicle. I can stand outside the truck with the door open, and apply the slightest vertical load to the end of the door and it will squeak like crazy. If the truck is rolling, the squeak is pretty much continuous. You can hear me coming down the street for a couple hundred yards.

Is there a likely culprit over others? I hate to pull the torsion bars and control arms if there is something I should be looking at first. Thanks in advance.

Does it do it when you are turning sharply? If so, it could be the steering stops (little screw with a cap underneath each lower ball joint). Grease helps but it is a temporary fix. Have you checked your bushings? Any play? A little movement can add a lot of noise going down the road. How are your shocks? I am sure you have looked into these, but I thought I would post anyway.

Give the control arm bushings and shock bushings a good douche with silicone spray and see if the squeak abates.

My balljoints squeaked like a son of a gun when they were going out.

Meaning you could leave engine off, emergency brakes on, and in first gear, then safely get near each suspect component, have assistant apply vertical load on truck, to feel, hear, (see movement) if it causes the squeak.
Have you done that?

Not necessarily. It squeaks anytime the suspension moves. Just pushing down on the hood makes it squeak. It is just hard to locate. I even tried placing my ear to a 10ft piece of pvc while someone else rocks the truck and could not hone in on the location. It is definitely in the region of the shock, control arm, etc.

Will a spray of silicone lub even reach the control arm bushings?

It can be parked, engine off with the door open and just wiggle the door up/down and it will squeak like crazy.

I am going to pull the shock off first to see if that stops it, after that I guess it has to be the control arm bushings (upper or lower).
