Type in "linky to zuk" trust me it will lead you right to it. I am on my iPhone, hard for me to get it for you.

You have it right. Held in by 3 bolts, and 6 bolts for each cv joint.

The link will have the list of tools to make it quick. He said take off the crossmember. I didn't and it still went smoothly.

One tip, don't sit under it as you try to lower it down.

Almost forgot. Don't know if you have an add front diff or not. If you do, I think it's one electrical plug and 2 vacuum lines.

The bolts on the CV shafts are splined.
You'll need a long drift punch and a hammer. I've used the stock jack extension before, works good.
Punch all the bolts out of the CV shafts before you undo the three bolts to the frame.
Make sure you have that thing supported and secured or else it'll come crashing down.

And, if you have the time and inclination, grind the knurls off of the CV shaft bolts before re-installing. That way you can do a trail fix a lot easier, they just come out like regular bolts.

I took the time and the time and filed mine off on a lathe.

I sell an ifs diff studless kit. That converts the studs to standard bolts. I am outta stock right now but should get a shipment in soon. It makes swapping out diffs or CVs much easier.

Or you can just grind off the splines off the stud to make a bolt... takes maybe 30 seconds per stud.
