Flowmaster Love

Just installed new 2.25" Flowmaster and custom cat-back exhaust.
Mucho improvement, can definitely feel difference, excellent mod for 3.0 trucks!

How does it sound? All the ones I have heard had a ricer sound. Manily 22res though.

Not as deep a rumble as a V8 would have but, does not sound like ricer, a lot quieter than I thought it would be actually, but I did have a full tailpipe made, I have noticed quite a few just have a short down-turned pipe off the end of theirs.
Mostly I was looking for some extra ponies, sound is just nice by-product!

I have a flowmaster with a turndown, and must agree its a great sound and mod for the truck. The money was just burning a hole in your pocket huh.

Gotta 40 series on mine and no ricer sound at all. Sounds really good, can't hear it in the cab but outside you get a nice low tone from it. (definately not as low as a v8 though)

Put on 40 Series on my 86' runner with 2.25 exhaust pipe out the rear. I also had a test pipe to replace the cat but man it was to loud! I had to put the cat back on. If anyone is looking for a test pipe let me know!
