Alright guys I fixed my starter issue, now on to another problem, replaced cap, rotor, coil, spark plugs, wires. Still won't fire. And I rebuilt the carb, granted it was my first rebuild usually buy new, but shooting starting fluid down it should at least fire a little right? Anything is appreciated thanks in advance..

Put your timing light on one of the plug wires. If the plug is firing, the timing light will flash. If no flash, work backwards to find the cause. If the plugs are firing, re-verify that the right wires go to the right plugs (if the plugs fire out of order there will be no fuel to ignite). If you've tried starting fluid (nasty stuff, that), then it is probably not in the fuel-side system.

Okay I'll try that in the morn, would low compression cause a no fire issue cause I pulled off the valve cover and this engine is just plain nasty.

Yes, but usually only on the cylinder with low compression.

Did this engine run in the recent past? What has changed?

In a situation like this where you don't have a background of experience with the motor, you need to start at the start. If you have doubts about whether the engine is making compression you need to run a compression test. If the compression is low or non-existent you need to deal with that issue first. I don't care what else is working correctly, you still have to be making compression or the engine won't run. If no compression you need to check rocker adjustment, and if that seems good, cam timing. An engine with a cam out of time is never going to run. If the engine is making decent compression then you are back to the standard TWO, fuel and fire. If it is carbureted look down the throat and see if the accelerator pump is squirting fuel. If not you probably have a fuel delivery problem. In any case verify that you have fire by whatever means you like best. Work in a logical order. Compression first, then fuel and fire, in whichever order seems best to you. I would simply go with whichever of those two is easiest, first.
