It's a stock bumper with a Westin Pushbar attached to it.

It sounds like you have a great start lined up. You will be very pleased with the Bilstein/Downey combo. Headers are supposedly the single best thing you can do the 3.0 engine to get a little more power out of it. Also it eliminates the restrictive crossover that has led to many #6 cylinder burnt valves.

Ok, I went out and crawled around in the snow for a while and this is what I came up with:

Driver Side

Passenger Side

Cheap camera trick making me look over 6ft tall.

I like the look a hell of a lot better and for a half-hour of wrenching its definitely worth it.

It look so much better without those boards. My 91 4runner was green. My 92 is red. I will post up some pictures or do a search and you will find all kinds of great looking rigs to get some ideas from.

Find a locker, some 33x10.5s, and armor.

Here's what I've done, and I don't regret any of it:

33x10.50's
Ditch running boards
Dented the crap out of my rockers
Sliders
Budbuilt skidplates
Gears + ARB lockers
Rear bumper
Broke out rear glass
1/4 exo to protect glass
Front bumper

I'd start by getting an Optima battery, or even just a new one

See my cardomain page for more ideas for your truck, and welcome!

Welcome, now that you have ditched the running boards, put some Bushwackers on there. The look is real sharp.

After all the reading and searching I've done on these forums I realize I might as well just stick with the stock 3.[0|slow]. Yes, it's a slow motor but they run onwards of 300,000 miles and I need it to do so. So you can chalk me up there with the "F* IT" crowd in regards to the 3.0 before I've even touched the airbox!

What exactly is The Engire Restore stuff you are talking about and how do you use it? My valve train is pretty noisy itself

It's in the same aisle as Seafoam, but TOTALLY different. It's a thick gooey oil that's supposed to fill in any scratches or scoring in the cylinder walls and balance compresssion.

Go to your local car parts store, and ask for a can of engine restore for the engine type you have (IE: V6, V8, etc.), then pour it in to your oil reservoir and let your engine run until the clicking, tapping, or other noise stops. If that doesn't fix it, then you might have an issue that won't be fixed by it.

Restore stuf works wonders... also will help build up a bit of compression by reducing/preventing blow by caused by scored [old] cylinder walls. Actually improved the performance and MPG on my engine. {which it would of course LOL}
