Finished mounting OME kit + 33" :)

Finally i have finished lifting my 4Runner.

I used the OME suspension kit + OME torsion bars with 1.5" Sdori BJ spacers and coil spacers from strap22 (Thank you Phil).
After i mounted the OME kit, i need to crank the torsion bars to have clearance for the 33" tires , but the ride was to stiff, and also the CV angle was to high.

So i ordered an 1" BL , and differential drop kit from 4Crawler (thanks Roger).
After i mounted the BL, i lowered 1" from torsion bars, now everything is fine.

Some pictures before and after : (the quality of the first 2 is not to good...i forget to adjust the white balance)

Before :

Back lifted :

After:

Tomorrow i bring the car to a service to remove all the rust, and repaint.
I will come back with pictures .

Zoli

Nice look! Doesn't even look like the same truck. Are you planning on keeping the old tires and rims for highway driving?

Well , i want to use only the 33" tires.
I plan to regear to 4.88 (i have 4.3 now) and add front manual hubs.
But is hard to find companies from US who ship to Romania

Haha.. How long did you drive with just the back lifted? I assume a while judging on how dirty the rear tires are in the last pic

That is a great looking truck man!

Looking Good!

It's amazing what a little lift and some rims/tires can do for a vehicle. I know looking back at my truck when I picked her up and took pictures looks completely not like the same truck.

I drive the car about 1 week without the BL.
I took the picture after we finished.

Looks great, man. Out of curiosity, what kind of restrictions (if any) do you guys have there in Romania on off road driving? I know when I was in Bulgaria that I saw a lot of trails that looked like a lot of fun. Of course, there were also a lot of "paved" roads that I traveled that you almost needed 4wd to travel on! "Duptki duptki!!!" (Bulgarian for "potholes")

As i know , no restrictions for off road driving.
Restrictions are applied to the national, and county roads, but the majority of the off roads ( forrest roads ) - no restrictions.
