factory winch option

just out of curiosity, does anyone here actually have the factory winch option for these trucks? the parts diagrams call it out so I know it existed, its not just a fairy tale. I have never seen a factory electric winch on either as 4runner or a pickup. I cant even find a picture of one on the google box.

I know the feeling. Once again. It even has some sort of "bar" across it, I really want to see pics as well.
Gonna need to learn Japanese.

I am guessing it was an option for professional vehicles maybe, like firetrucks and / or ambulances. Then, used ones would most probably be in Japan.
Never seen a Toyota Fire engine / support Truck in EU or USA.

A bit of Toyodiy: seems I can only find it on Japanese vehicles, like: 1986 TOYOTA HILUX (YN61G-MSE) SSR JPN WG 3YEU EFI MTM 5F CBU

38110 WINCH ASSY

38110-35010 $4,664.42

38116 COVER, WINCH

38286-35010 $436.13

I don't think that that link is an OEM winch. It's either a custom hack job, or a dealer hack job. It is certainly not Toyota.

I agree. I believe that he was told it is oem, but it certainly does not look like something that would meet Toyota standards to me
