Exhaust Stud length

Exhaust Stud length
Apparently the exhaust studs on the bottom are shorter than the ones on the top due to the snog related copper tubing deal that mates with the manifold. I can't find the longer exhaust studs for the top set. The shorter ones are the ones that Rockauto sells as OEM. They don't sell the longer ones. 22RE Perf sells a set of 8, all the same length, probably the longer, but pricey. Same with LCE. I can't seem to find a relatively inexpensive exhaust stud that fits the top set. Any help would be great.
Thanks

The long ones are about 4.7 cm. The shorter ones are about 4.3. All my bolts got thrown in the washer and lost all their labels when the guy rebuilt my engine so I have to figure out which bolt goes where by "feel".
I always forget about the Dealer, probably because I assume they'll be too expensive, or they wouldn't carry some of the older parts. I'll check with them. Thanks

In got my last set of exhaust studs through the dealer, they were the only that had them with the torx end to help install them. Pretty cheap too.

I ended up getting all of my hardware from the dealership....
:'(
Cost me quite a pretty penny, about $70, just for studs and nuts
Was wondering how each stud is oriented when in the head, but now I see that the longer ones go on the top side, and the shorter ones on the bottom side. I imagine the ends which are identical are the sides which the nuts fasten to, while the other sides are placed into the head.
Some people prefer to say ˟˟˟˟ the studs and opt for bolts, however, my research suggests that the studs do a better job of keeping everything nice and tight.
How did you fare?

I needed one, I went to the dealer, very reasonable
On this 22RE project I found one upper exhaust stud (2nd from front)secured with gunk and dirt, when clean it wobbled, wasn't screwed in all the way and whoever stripped the end .25/.375 of the threads in the head, actually thought it was the wrong one. (another goober) Ordered by P/N the replacement (not in stock) exact same as the old. They carry a stud in stock almost .375 longer with loctite and the torx end, they have a whole box full, I bought that one instead. Got well past the bad threads, I used a 6.5 socket to install I believe. Worked perfect!!! With a new nut, $2.95 plus tax here in Nampa

reusing studs
My understanding is they have special threads (one time use) can't recall the technical term, but one time only, that is you want to do it correctly. I put this here, went to dealer as nobody anywhere else had anything for Toy at all, not o, not Napa, azone, nobody but the dealer..
Good Luck

I'm putting new ones in if I can get the old ones out, they are most likely the original ones that came on the truck 30 years ago, lol. Once I get the header from LCE I'm gonna put it on and the Cat I bought from Advanced Auto parts. Still gotta wait to get the muffler from Magnaflow, guess they gotta build the damn thing or puul they're thumbs out of they're tails or something of that nature, ROFL
