The motor is still running kinda funny. When its cold it wants to rev up and down or just die out. It runs like that for about 5-10 min and then runs fine. i think its the idle mixture screw on the throttle body that needs to be adjusted and maybe after that hit the timing light back on it.
The steering is the same as it was. I did end up getting a used box from the local yard but it ended up being no better then the one i pulled. I think im gonna go back to the yard and get another one ($35) and rebuild it and see if that's any better. I live in washington and we just got a big winter blast and where i live we ended up getting 8 inches of snow. I drove the truck every day in 4hi and it did very well. just thought i would add that. sadly though i am thinking of selling or trading my beast for something that is more economical. this runner gets about 8-10 mpg and its killing my pocket book.
