I have this weird problem where if my drivers door is locked and i try to open it from the inside and realise its locked, i can't pull up the unlock button. i have to wind down the glass, try to open it from the outside and only then the unlock button will allow it self to be pulled up. any ideas?

 

It sounds like you may have a linkage connector that is loose or off. Take your door panel off and observe the workings of the door lock linkage as you lock/unlock the door in every type of situation you can think of.
