Remove the buzzer module. I did that within a month of when my truck was new in '87 and never looked back. The dome light will still come on with the passenger door opening, but not the driver's door -- I prefer that, actually. You can still turn the dome light on with the three-position switch on the light, but it's nice to have your truck get all lit up when you open the door. Opinions will vary, but the stealth option is nice.
