Don't you hate that?
I HATE it when people ask the same question that has been already asked a million other times. I hate it a lot, but I'm gonna do it anyways.
Okay, just picked up an 88 4Runner, and it has that ass-sag that they all get after 20 years. Just wondering what is the cheapest, easiest way to fix that? I was thinking of adding a leaf or two, but that does add up to a little $. I was almost thinking of copping out and just sticking a 2" block back there (i know everybody hates them, I know, but its SO cheap). Any ideas what to do/ warnings of things NOT to do?
This is just my beater truck, so I don't want to spend all my money on it and I don't really care about doing it the best way possible because it doesn't really matter that much to me due to the fact that were talking about a temporary secondary truck here.
I'd love to hear what others have done!

lmao! Hell no to the civic idea! yeah i think there are many ways to go about doing this, and not that i cant afford to do them, i just wanted to save my money for my other truck : \
I think a set of shackles may be a good idea, hadn't really thought of that. although that coil idea sounds good too. i'm sure i'll figure something out. Thanks for the ideas everybody

Don't put coils where they're not supposed to be. I know people have done it and it works...I'm not doubting that. But it's not any better/cheaper than just picking up a set of 1.5" or 2" longer than stock shackles and bolting those right in. Or a 1.5" add a leaf. Sure, your best bet is to get an entire replacement leaf pack, but that's not always a viable option for people when it comes to money.
Ultimately, I'd say throw a set of Old Man Emu leaf packs in there....you get a little lift and you increase load carrying capacity.
