Dome light dims every 6 secs when engine off
title pretty much says it all, my dome light dims every 6 seconds for 4 secs then gets bright again for 6 secs then dim and so on. only does it when runner is completely off and keys are out. could this have anything to do with my no start issues?

Worked for a dealership bodyshop back in 88' that installed LoJack transmitters. Transmitter was roughly 1x2x5" metal case 3' antenna wire. We put them into most of the new high theft cars and trucks at the same time we added the alarms. If you were financing through us you got one even if we couldn't get you to pay for it.

I figured it out I think, ok that night I noticed that light dimming thing. Next morning i get in runner shut door, and I hear a click click click just behind the seatbelt in the wall. So i figured something was stuck in the door and swinging and taping the side of the car, open door and find nothing, close door and clicking stops. Turn key and battery is COMPLEATLY dead. I Jumped battery drove about 5 or 10 miles shut it off and dome light did the blinking thing, I opened back window to get something out and the blinking dome light stopped. Only now my rear window sounds like complete crap when opening, and opens really slow, I already greased it and completely recharged my battery. So, what should I be looking at replacing? Really loud motor or relay that runs all night?

Rear window relay is under left center trim panel. Used part sells for $5 to $50.
Did the console switch stick in the on position?
Did relay burnout? Power a headlite bulb from its output.
Did rear window motor get damaged? Put power directly to it.
Tail gate latches can be closed to operate glass with gate open. Do not extend glass all the way with gate open. It must be supported or weight of glass will cause it to tilt and damage gate.
Check left rear wheelhouse for rot holes. Relays die quickly from tire spray.

ok maybe i was wrong, relay works fine and must be the cleanest part I have ever pulled from my runner, but ever since that night with the dimming dome light the rear window motor is really really loud and not very fast. put power straight to the motor and there seems to be no difference is the motor dieing?
