Trimming Lower Valance

Has anyone trimmed the lower valance like this? I'm thinking about cutting off the yellow part.

Does anyone have any pics of a similar hack??

I had it trimmed at one point, but it looked stupid.

Personally, I think it would look just plain wrong (and bad.) (Sorry)
If it's a rubbing issue, why not just trim it in line with the bumper. (see attachment)

Otherwise take it off.
I trimmed the heck out of mine, but in a totally different way...

That's what I was thinking about doing. I just don't like to see the front of the frame like then you tke it all the way off, I think it's ugly.

sonoran steel makes a plate that dresses up the frame area when you remove the lower valence.

I would atleasy want the part there that protects the RAD. I like the Sonoran Steel one but I would want bigger holes in it. It looks like it would block too much air flow.

My valence is bent to all hell so Ive been thinking about trimming it up.

yeah, I never liked the missing valance look either, that's why I didn't remove mine. (I didn't leave it on there because I think all that chrome is cool, but for now it looks better on there.) But at least "removed" looks like "serious trail rig" rather than "hacked up by a hack"...

I was seriously thinking of getting another valance and trimming the bumper ends and cutting the valance down so the whole thing is sort of still there but smaller, and covers up the frame. Then paint it. I'll try to draw it...
