CV shaft Retainer Clip and Washer

I wasn't going to take any chances with this. I'm glad that DeathCougar put in caps DONT GRIND ANYTHING. With my luck I would have ended up with one side of the washer thicker than the other. I do need the truck, but I can wait longer if it means that I get the right parts and don't have to juryrig anything. Theres a Bap-Geon down the street from my neighborhood. I'm going to see if they have anything before I order online.

It really wasn't a big deal and easy to do with vice grips and a grinder. Also, considering some people have replace the clip with thinner snaprings and had no problems, I don't think it's that big a deal. No matter what, it's not like that axle can just fall out.

True. Well, I'm going to Bap-Geon and see what they have. I think they get their remans from CV Unlimited. If that doesn't work I'll go with Cardone's which will take longer to be delivered - but seem to be good quality from what I've heard from a couple of local mechanics.
