creek coming from my truck

ok so today i heard yet a new sound coming from my 89. its like a creek or a faint squeek coming from under the truck sounds more like the fornt end at time s and other times sounds like the rear..i dunno also like a cricket chirp...what can this be...its an 89 pickup, V6, auto, manual hubs...anyone got any ideas?

THIS was coming from your truck? You may want to get it looked at!

You have to narrow it down for us....."might be the front might be the rear" could be ANYTHING on the darn truck.

Sounds like a squeaky kinda thing? Rear leaf springs, mine makes to on the driver side. no amount of lubing it seems to help.

squeak over bumps?

check your sway bar end links (if its still installed) My bushings are so worn that I have to grease it every week to stop it from squeaking.

yeah more than likely its swaybar end-links. Check underneath and see if the bushings are gone, which they probably are. Go to autozone and the ones with the polyurethane bushings. Like 20 bucks tops and well worth it. BTW hope you have a whizz wheel for gettin the old ones off.

man if i worred about every squeek my truck had, id be hairless.

the truck is nearly 20 years old. it could be anything really, from body mounts to any number of bushings, bumper brackets that have slowly come lose, etc etc.

nope its coming from something turning...sounds like the front drivers side tire...when i hit the brakes it stops? any more ideas guys
