Coolant hose part number

Hey everyone, after some neglect I am finally coming around and doing some much needed maintenance on my 92 4Runner. So fay I have done a drain and fill on my tranny, shifts much better now, and replaced the main upper and lower coolant hoses and well as flushed the system out. While looking at all the other hoses it seems like the only hose that appeared in bad enough shape to replace is the one that runs below the oil filter and comes up right next to the main lower hose. I believe I found the part number but I am not sure. The number I got is 16281-65010. Is that correct? This is the 3.0. Thanks.

16281-65010 is the coolant hose from the throttle body forward to a vertical fitting next to the FPR. https://parts.lakelandtoyota.com/sho...rimLevel=18186

I don't have a coolant line near the oil filter, but I believe there exists an optional oil cooler; it sits under the filter, and is plumbed to the outlet of the water pump. i don't know which models have that, so I can't quickly look for it.

Where did you get your number?

Just researching on the web and I did find the site you listed. I was hoping this was it but I guess not. Thanks.

I can post these shortly if needed - i'm replacing all coolant lines & radiator. Just picked up a 91. My parts guy knows most of these off the top of his head so I'm lucky. I have the oil cooler and both lines coming off that are beyond their lifespan.

That is not the one I was looking for but it did lead me to the 15778-65010 hose via this ebay link which looks very much like what I need.

That would be awesome and I am sure it would help others too. Thanks.

Forgive my ignorance but does oil or coolant run thru that hose?

yeah that is it, 15778 is an updated part number. Difference is the vibration shroud and maybe a tweak to the bends.

its coolant. That hunk of metal between the engine block and oil filter is a heat exchange, oil cooler.
