Come-along recovery w/ pics!
Went up steep trail..couldn't make it...went back down in reverse (no other options) and ended up hitting a tree. Couldn't go forward because tire was spinning and couldn't use my brothers truck because we couldn't get it by mine. It was a tight trail. Anyway...this is what we did...

We just winched it sideways. Worked very well...not sure how safe it was though.
And the damage...lol

Yeah i was pinned against a tree. I first pulled the truck forward with a stump and a come-along. Then pulled it sideways.
I also got stuck here...
This is going down...

Dueler`s for 14 inch rims! Don`t go with much bigger tires, I think that 225-70r14 size is pretty cool on 2wd yoters. I see you have the rear-bumper delete mod, invaluable for 2wd wheelers...
A rear locker makes things `different`when driving in the snow. But they are worth it in terms of off-road driving.

Something like this might be what you need and it's inexpensive.

edit. I like this one better. I have these on my rig right now in 31's and love them. http://treadwright.com/Tires-235_75R15_OTR-P6.aspx
