Something like this might be what you need and it's inexpensive.

edit. I like this one better. I have these on my rig right now in 31's and love them. http://treadwright.com/Tires-235_75R15_OTR-P6.aspx
Thanks Junkers! I just need to find a set of 15's. My plan was to swap them out when I went to go play. Also...those are REALLY cheap...how are they holding up?

me... I wouldn't do 15"'s only in the back... I'd do the same up front as in the back. seriously thinking- would you want 15" rim studded snow tires in the back and 14" rim A/T's up front? what does it matter if you have 100% traction in the rear and 0% traction up front to steer? ... unless you want to hit that tree straight ahead....

[QUOTE=91Toyota;50968762]Thanks Junkers! I just need to find a set of 15's. My plan was to swap them out when I went to go play. Also...those are REALLY cheap...how are they holding up?[QUOTE]

Mine have a few thousand miles on them and I have no issues at all. They balanced out well and are less noisy on the street than any BFG MT that I've ever had. Aired down to 10lbs or so they provide insane traction on the rocks that I crawl on. I haven't had them in mud or snow yet but I think they'll do just fine. They are cheap because they are retreads but they come with a 20,000 mile warranty and have many years of good reviews. For what you do they will probably work out very well.

Its old. There is nothing sweet about it.

Yes, I would. So I have 800lbs on the rear tires and 1600 on the front....thats plenty. I like tree's.

I wouldn't doubt if my "piece of crap" 2wd <- Key word...2wd = junk right?? has been off the pavement way more than your 4x4.

and you're assuming what here?

how about this: I'm willing to bet I have taken my 91 yota off road more during the past 5 years than you've taken yours during the past 5.
here's another one: I'm willing to bet that my 88 4runner has travelled more miles in the last year on road than yours... and off road too.

Considering I've had my license for 3??

And I wasn't talking about you either. I'm sure you've been off-road more than me. No doubt

weight means nothing without traction.
Traction means nothing without weight

So they weigh nothing then? If there was no weight over the rear tires (impossible) then they wouldn't go anywhere cuz there simply wouldn't be anything. Over-thinkers

Ever see a gutted race car with slicks in mud??????????????

My Toyota is a pile of $*@#

let's just make this short:
the truck is designed to be light in the rear so it can carry stuff... "duh!"
if you weight the rear end down to its rating, you'll find the front is lighter than the back (front weight 1600, rear weighs 800, so if you add 1/2 ton to the rear, it becomes 1800).
... so what good is traction in the back if the front can't steer it?
