Mine does it, look under the dash at the clutch pedal assembly. There will be a torsion spring tucked up in there. I tracked my squeeking down to that guy, I lubed it but it only lasted a day. I just turn the music up higher

I tried lithium grease in a can and it failed. Im not sure if wd40 would help.. but I suppose theres nothing to lose but 10 cents worth of lube.

Those pedal brackets tend to crack. Look very closely at the firewall area of the bracket.

And to properly lube that spring you need to use the special grease for polyurethane bushings.

Are there return springs on the clutch/brake pedals?

There is a small plastic bushing that fits over the pin that connects the master cylinder pushrod to the clutch pedal.

The bushing will break eventually, if you replace it the squeak will go away.
