My pedal was way too high when I installed my new MC recently. I adjusted the pedal height and now it's perfect.
Run this procedure down and measure everything.

It's kind of a chore, but this really covers everything you're dealing with.
No...you do not need to grind anything.

Clutch fork adjustment?
Allan,
The measurements from the rubber boot to the rod adjuster is 1 7/8" with 1/2" of exposed threading. I don't know if that's going to make any difference as Flash319 has a point.

You should title the video "The Blair Clutch Project"...
It's really hard to tell anything from the video. It is dark. Your motor sounds great, though!
Seriously....
Is the pedal height 6" or 2 1/4"? I'm a little confused over the first post on this page and the last one on the first. I'm assuming you meant the release point is 2 1/4"?
Regardless, the pedal being hard to move or not moving could mean two things. Either the push rod is not going in far enough or not at all (i.e. the MC is sticking) or the SC is not moving far enough or sticking.
You sure you installed the clutch pressure plate right? The release bearing?

no the throw from free rolling truck to full grabing clutch is only 2 and a half inches the clutch is fine was real nice with old master and slave put new ones on and all hell broke out and i think one of them are sticking or my buddy said there might still be air in it some where is that true?

Oh hell yes. If there's air in the line, it doesn't push the slave cylinder out all the way...and, consequently, the clutch fork/release bearing. That would esth'plain it....
Check it out.
Incidentally, the air is one of the things mentioned in the troubleshooting. guide.

We need to get on the same page with terminology, I think...
High pedal? Do you mean "pedal height" from the floor or clutch "engagement point"?
I have to go take care of some things. Let me study the video (much better, btw) and reveiw the thread, but I'm thinking you just need to play with the pedal height adjustment or bleed the system again....if there's air, that is.
Later, skater...

Okay....just took me a second to think about it. It "appears" to me that you're dealing with thing same I did. As I said originally, I had to adjust the pedal height at the adjuster. Bleed your line again. If that doesn't help, play with the adjustment. If that doesn't help, you need to study the push rod.
You never said if you still had your old MC. Do you?
