My pedal was way too high when I installed my new MC recently. I adjusted the pedal height and now it's perfect.
Run this procedure down and measure everything.

It's kind of a chore, but this really covers everything you're dealing with.
No...you do not need to grind anything.

That bolt looking thing is the push rod. You use that to adjust the pedal freeplay....not the pedal height....which is what you're dealing with. Capice?

Hey Allan.......Matthew.
Yeah, I was beginning to wonder. I keep checkin' my email to make sure you weren't sent to my junk box. I'm better with trucks than I am with computers. Although, I can type rather tenaciously!

BTW, do you still have your old MC?
Anyway, I have the feeling you've got the push rod itself turned to far out. With the old MC you would be able to check the measurement against the new. I'd measure the one in mine for you, but it's sitting a mile and half away with the motor apart...hahahahaha....ehem.

Okay......I can't see that there's anything visually wrong with it. I have to make a run for hay early on today, so I can stop at my vehicle and check the push rod length. Then we can compare how yours lines up. Until then, get the pedal measurements and post them up.

ok the pedal is 6" from the indent on the carpet and theres NO freeplay (clutch disinauges right at top) and at about 4.5" is when it ingauges so there 4.5" of play(travel) from the floor to the ingaugesing point and only 1.5" of start to full grab
