Cast crank for 22re?
Do you think a cast crank will be fine for my rebuild? You can find a new cast crank for $150ish. I think i could have my stock crank turned, but then i would have to get oversized bearings (already have standard size bearings). How much does getting your crank turned usually cost? Thanks in advance!

I would guess it to be $80-100 for a regrind plus probably ~$60 for a name brand bearing set.
The stock crank is forged, right? I personally would keep it. I don't think a cast crank will be a problem for even 500bhp(Ford 2300s have gone in excess of 700rwhp on the stock nodular crank), but I doubt you could even worry a forging, let alone break it at street power levels in a 22R-E.
